At FCDS, learning happens everywhere. In the classrooms, on the fields, and at our clubs. These programs give boys the chance to try something new, pursue hobbies, and connect with friends in ways that spark curiosity and build confidence.

Student-Led Clubs - Turning Ideas Into Action

Starting a club at FCDS is about more than just sharing a favorite interest. It’s about leading. From filling out an application to pitching an idea, scheduling meetings, and organizing activities, students guide the process from start to finish. Along the way, the boys build real-life skills like planning, communication, and teamwork. More importantly, they discover what it means to bring people together, make things happen, and leave a mark on our community.

Student-led Clubs change with each term depending on interest.

Past examples include:
Fishing Club
Golf
Dungeons & Dragons
Sports Cards Investing Club
Cooking and Baking
Basketball Skills and Drills
Model UN

Faculty-Led Clubs - Exploring Passions Together

Faculty-Led Clubs offer students the chance to explore new skills and interests alongside teachers who share their enthusiasm. Whether it’s music, science or student leadership, these clubs offer a space to learn, experiment and connect. With a teacher mentor leading the way, boys find joy in learning and discovering something new in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Faculty-Led Clubs are offered for a full-year or by term and may change depending on interest.  Examples include:
