    Excelling in any area, the arts, athletics, or academics, requires dedication, focus, and impeccable time management skills.   FCDS eighth grader, Julian Schirnding-Yach, undoubtedly has this talent and more!  Julian is an acclaimed pianist, ranked in the top 50 for tennis in New England, and a scholar. He embodies what it means to be a FCDS boy; he is articulate, empathetic, and a gentleman.

  • Writer - Timmy Sullivan '18

    Timmy first expressed interest in writing for the e-blotter, the daily FCDS publication, in 3rd grade.  His dad showed him the e-blotter each morning and that sparked his desire to be a contributor.  At first, Timmy wrote about the US Presidents, later came the state of the week, in 5th grade he focused on events in history that occurred in that coming week, and this year he writes about the history of rock and roll.

    In early September when Hurricane Irma barreled across the Caribbean leaving a large swath of destruction in its wake, Shiloh Fleming ’19 knew he had to do something to help. His mother is from Antigua and Barbuda - one of the countries most affected by the storm - and with family still living in the islands, Shiloh stepped up to help those in need.
