    Taste of FCDS

    Let’s do lunch! Every Friday at 11:45am and 12:45pm, get a taste of the community at FCDS by dining with students and faculty. Sample the freshly prepared meals at the school’s signature “family-style” lunch, chat with teachers about their own FCDS highlights, experience the acknowledgement and applause of the coveted FCDS “Blue Slips” and watch student leaders in action as they serve a meal to their friends, classmates and faculty.

    Admissions-Tuesday Talk

    Every Tuesday beginning at 8:30am.
    Walk the 25-acre campus with a 9th Grade Tour Guide and join the FCDS community at our All-School Assembly. Followed by coffee and conversation with the Headmaster and Director of Admissions, visiting families will get a glimpse into the community and daily happenings of Fairfield Country Day School.  Stop by or email admissions@fairfieldcountryday.org for more details.

    Summer@FCDS registration is live!!

    Summer@FCDS 2018 offers:
    • Full and half-day co-ed camp programs for campers entering Kindergarten through 9th grade
    • The same Summer Fun Camp your children have been enjoying for more than 25 years with some new and exciting options for boys and girls in grades 3-9
    • 7 week-long sessions from June 18-August 3
    • Early drop off starting at 8:15am daily
    • $25 discount per child if you register before March 31
    • New registration portal where you can manage your family registration, add weeks, get invoices and receipts, upload medical forms, and update your account at any time
    Our week-long sessions provide an atmosphere of learning and fun, with highly qualified, experienced educators (many of whom are full-time FCDS faculty) who are committed to providing a positive experience for every child. Camp is held on the 25-acre FCDS campus, where campers love cannonballing into our pool, letting their imaginations run wild during arts and crafts, playing games and honing new sports skills outdoors, and having a blast with new friends all summer long!

    On top of all the summer fun campers know and love from years past, we've added a long list of new elective enrichment courses for children entering grade 3 through grade 9 — everything from woodworking and technology to survival skills, yoga, and cooking classes.  Attached is a quick guide to all of the optional sessions for boys and girls in grades 3-9.

Fairfield Country Day School (FCDS) is a private, all-boys day school in Fairfield, Connecticut.

Founded in 1936 by Laurence W. Gregory, the school has admitted only boys since its inception. As per our mission: Fairfield Country Day School provides an educational community dedicated to the development of impactful young leaders of character and purpose; ready to face the everyday challenges and pivotal turning points of their lifetime with confidence, courage and compassion. Its balanced and challenging program is designed to help each student expand his desire and ability to acquire knowledge, capture his imagination, stimulate his curiosity and creativity, and enhance his self-esteem and respect for others. Each boy’s individual growth is encouraged in an environment that anticipates the future while appreciating the past.
