"WHAT IS THE NEXT BEST STEP FOR MY SON?"

Choosing a secondary school is a very important decision. The process each family goes through is unique, and yet collaborative.  Fairfield Country Day is in step with each student to make this a rewarding journey, one that ultimately takes him to his next academic home.

Understandably, families want to build on the experience that they have had at FCDS. They want their son to be known, receive attention, and find success in a variety of ways. With that in mind, and led by our Headmaster and Head of the Upper School, we work as a team to develop a recommended list of schools for each student to consider, visit, and eventually apply to.

Our goal is to make the secondary school process a positive and successful endeavor. We encourage students and their parents to try and answer an essential question at the outset: “What is the next best step for my son?” It is important that families consider this question carefully and then remain open to all possibilities.
